To my blog viewers:

Hey guys, so just a heads up – I’m currently taking an Electronic Publishing course, and therefore, I will be changing up the formatting on my blog. I will also be posting blogs about assignments (like this one). I will also be posting stories here and there, like I always do.

Elements of a Good Website (In Order of Importance to Me)

1. Build Trust – I believe this is an important element because most online surfers will click away from a website that seems sketchy to avoid getting viruses and scammed. Therefore, I have included links to my social media, I’ve displayed a logo, I’ve showcased my followers, and I’ve tried to make my photography look high-quality. However, I can’t really NOT use a pre-made website template because this is WordPress.
2. Mobile Friendly – I know that the majority of my audience will find my blog through a phone or tablet more so than a desktop or laptop. Therefore, when I customize my blog on my computer, I make sure to check out how it looks on my phone.
3. Proper Layout – I know that my website needs to have a proper layout, because people are more likely to click off of my blog if they cannot figure their way around it.
